judging guidelines All the supporting documentation for entries (part 2) must be submitted by Friday 4th July 2008 Entrants should supply the judges with as much relevant information as they possibly can about the gardens or landscapes entered in the New Homes Garden Awards. They will require garden design plans, site plans, before and after images (where required), the brief, budget, plant lists, photographs, digital images (jpeg pc format), explanation of brief, designer and/or constructor details, information on wildlife issues and impact, environmental and conservational issues and factors, any specialist work carried out and any particular points of merit and interest. The judges will also require information as to why you consider the entry or entries worthy of an award. Please remember that it is not the quantity of material that is important but the quality. It should be succinct, easily readable and to the point. It is also worth reminding you that the judges are not judging the property itself only the relationship it has with the garden or landscape entered. If you require any additional information before submitting part 2 of your entry in July please contact us by phone or email. |
The winners of the New Homes Garden Awards 2008 will be announced at the Awards Presentation Lunch at the Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington, London on Friday 26th September |
